From the Vicar - October 2015
The sight of the glorious moon in our skies over the last few days has filled us with a sense of awe and wonder at the beauty of God’s creation. Even if you didn’t manage to get up at 3am to see the eclipse, we have been privileged to see some stunning night skies. Driving back from Denbigh last night it felt almost as if I was going to drive into the moon it was so low and so large, yet stunningly beautiful. Go to NEWS to read more.

Grouped parishes service this month!
Don't forget that there's a fifth Sunday in August, on the 30th. There will be no service at St Dyfnog's on that day, but a grouped parishes service at St James Nantglyn - Holy Eucharist at 11:15. All welcome!
Directions for those who need them: from St Dyfnog's, turn left up the hill (past the old Vicarage) and continue for about two and a half miles, to Prion crossroads. Turn left and continue for another mile and a half, until you reach the T-junction at Saron (Caer Mynydd Caravan Park on either side of you and Saron Chapel ahead). Turn right and continue for another two miles to Nantglyn, where you will have to stop at the crossroads; turn right, and the church is on the left after about 100 yards, opposite the church hall.

From the Vicar - Easter 2015
The Cross lies at the very heart of the Christian faith, for without the cross there would be no Easter Morning, no Resurrection. We can sometimes take the cross for granted, use it for decoration, make it presentable with candles and flowers, yet the cross is not an easy object to gaze upon, but an instrument of pain and torture that has become for us a symbol of love and sacrifice.
